Dr. Nicola Rotberg

Dr. Nicola Rotberg is a board-certified OB/GYN at Grapevine Women’s Health and Gynecology, LLC, in Hillsboro, Oregon. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, in 1988, her master’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin in 1990, and graduated from the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington in 1995. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Temple University in Philadelphia in 1999. She is a current member of the North American Menopause Society.

During residency, she received excellent mentoring and training in both office and surgical gynecology, emphasizing vaginal hysterectomies over open abdominal techniques. The foundations of her training have since shaped her management style as she seeks to achieve maximum surgical benefit through the least invasive methods possible such as laparoscopic and vaginal hysterectomies. She places a great emphasis on nutrition and prevention, compassionately woven together with lifestyle modification as the underpinnings of a healthy lifestyle.

Originally from New England, Dr. Rotberg has been part of the Hillsboro community, providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care since 2001. Grapevine Women’s Health and Gynecology was opened in 2013 to continue her passion for gynecology and overall women’s health from adolescence through menopause and the later years.

When not at work, Dr. Rotberg can be found running the trails of Forest Park, cycling, hiking, backpacking, and gardening. She lives in Portland with her husband, two children, and two energetic dogs.
